RACC partners with Americans for the Arts and the Arts Action Fund for arts advocacy at the federal level.
Art. Ask for More is a national campaign to support arts education in the schools.
The Oregon Art PAC is non-partisan political action committee that supports local candidates who are committed to increasing public funding for arts and culture.
Act for Art, published in 2009, is a five-year action plan for arts and culture in the region.
7/15 Art Spark featuring PDX Bridge Festival

Come for a pre-pre party for the PDX Bridge Festival, Portland's newest cultural arts festival—dedicated to raising awareness and fostering appreciation of the Willamette River Bridges through educational, historical, cultural & artistic programming. This is the inaugural year of the festival, and this year's programming includes over 65 events and 169 hours of programming during 16 exciting days, from July 23 to August 8. It is a groundbreaking event, with films, gallery exhibitions, speakers, tours, music and performance... not to mention some incredible installations planned for Portland's bridges!
This Art Spark is a special outdoor event in the waterfront park headquarters of the Rose Festival, right at the foot of the Hawthorne Bridge, which celebrates its centennial this year! Featuring transcontinental groove maniac DJ GlobalRuckus, beer by Ninkasi Brewery and Barefoot Wine, this is one Art Spark you won't want to miss. 5-7pm at Portland Rose Festival Headquarters on the Waterfront, 1020 SW Naito Parkway, Portland.
Art Spark is a monthly networking event (every third Thursday) for the local art community sponsored by RACC and held at various venues.
