RACC Budget Request to the City of Portland
On February 1, 2010, RACC submitted its FY11 budget request to the City of Portland. The requested amount of $3,682,829 is 1.3% higher than FY10 funding levels, based on a formula that was established when RACC was first created in 1995. RACC is also scheduled to receive $200,000 every year through a separate City ordinance adopted in 2006 to support Work for Art.
As required by the City, RACC’s proposal also describes how RACC would cut up to 4% from its budget. The proposal also includes three add package requests, including $100,000 for Work for Art, $150,000 for the Creative Advocacy Network, and $200,000 for The Right Brain Initiative.
