Classics for Kids Foundation provides matching grants

These grants help bring new, exceptionally fine stringed instruments and mentoring with world-renowned musicians to children while strengthening local community support for music education. The instruments provided through the support of our donors are beyond the reach of most music programs and young musicians. CFKF instruments excite children with their ease of playing and exceptional tone, inspiring them to have fun learning, practice more, and enjoy their instrument. Our renowned mentors further the connection between students and their instruments and between communities and their music programs. Matching grants are open to new and established music programs nationally that serve children grades 3 through 12. Matching instrument grants typically range from $5,000-$40,000. Complete guidelines and applications can be provided by emailing the Foundation at cfkids@classicsforkids.org or contact Surale Phillips or Nyda Gilbertson, Classics for Kids Foundation, PO Box 1537, Bozeman, MT 59771, Phone: 406.587.8183. There is no calendar deadline.
