A Relationship-Based Approach to Getting More Business presented by Carolyn Campbell
It frustrates me immensely to watch really talented people and organizations struggle simply because they don’t have the comfort and skill to ask for business. Getting more business can be as simple as asking for it…in a way that is authentic and relational! To learn how, join me for this personalized, action-focused workshop.
If you are like many others, what you love most is doing your work. Asking for business can seem like an imposition…or leave you feeling vulnerable and exposed. But the cool part is that people want you to ask. They want you to ask them what they want and help them get it…really! In fact, studies show that at least 60% of business is lost because people don’t ask. And no, this is NOT about making a sales pitch.
During The Art — and Zen — of Asking for Business, we’ll focus on ways to:
• Identify who is a great client and how to start a conversation;
• Cross the line of ‘polite’ and ‘safe’ conversation to engage others in meaningful ways;
• Learn the art of asking powerful questions to focus on what the ‘other’ really wants;
• Authentically build strong, personal rapport;
• Get more of the work you love!
…and yes, it will be fun, too!
