Tune your digital images to perfection. You’ll learn how to enhance your images using easy to understand features of Adobe Photoshop (CS4) software. This (4-hour) hands-on workshop will teach you about color correction, sharpening, repairing and touching up images, straightening and cropping, selective editing, and file compression. We’ll harness the power of Photoshop and gain experience using tools, layers, masks, and cool effects too just for fun. You’ll learn best practices in digital file management, and how to use multiple copies of your digital image, keeping your original files untouched. We’ll also touch on alternatives to Photoshop, and how to apply the techniques you’ve learned to any other program. (Must have basic computer skills, and experience with digital images.)

Saturday, June 12th, 9:30am – 1:30pm
Location: Art Institute of Portland, 1122 NW Davis Street, Portland, OR 97209
