8/3 PCA Media Workshops: Framing the Message ~ Editing with Final Cut Pro

In this six-session workshop, participants will explore concepts of editing while developing a basic understanding of Apple's Final Cut Pro editing software. Participants will learn to conceptualize the framing of ideas, approaches to editing organization, and develop a strategy for media management (both long term and short term). Workshop projects involve the creation of a short promo for Portland Community Media. Selected promos will be distributed by PCM.
