8/6 Flute Fandango 2010-Breaking the Record benefit

This is a fundraiser for the Music Education Assistance Project, the non-profit arm of the American Federation of Musicians, Local #99. They give grants to low-income, talented public school students for private lessons and they also send professionals into the school for music clinics and performances. This fundraiser is designed for fun and uniqueness. They hope to break the Guinness Book Record for the Largest Flute Ensemble which is currently at 1,989 players. They want 2,010!

The event is scheduled for Friday evening, August 6th at Oaks Amusement Park. Will be raising money for a worthy organization, helping kids, and utilizing the publicity to discuss music ed-
