Adjunct Instructors sought by Clark College Art Department

Clark College Art Department is seeking applications for adjunct instructors for inclusion in a pool of qualified candidates who have the demonstrated ability to teach beginning drawing and/or two-dimensional design. An MFA and college-level teaching experience are preferred. Please include the following in your application packet:
1. A brief cover letter explaining your interest in the pool, and describing your qualifications.
2. A current resume
3. A CD that contains 20 examples of your recent art work and 20 examples of recent student work, if available.
4. A typed slide list giving the number of each slide, title of the work, date, medium, and dimensions of work.
5. Any other instructional material such as syllabi, student assignments or grading rubrics that demonstrate your teaching strengths.
Unless you include a SASE, the department will retain all materials for ongoing future consideration. Teaching would begin Fall term, 2010. Applicants under serious consideration will be called in for a campus interview. Successful applicants will also be subject to a criminal background check prior to hiring.
