Broadway Rose Theatre Company: "Forbidden Broadway"

In this hilarious musical revue, Forbidden Broadway lovingly pokes fun at some of musical theater’s most beloved shows including The Phantom of the Opera, Mary Poppins, Mamma Mia, Rent, and The Little Mermaid. It also targets famous Broadway actors, writers, and composers, including Carol Channing, Cole Porter, Ethel Merman, Liza Minelli, Stephen Sondheim, Barbra Streisand, and Andrew Lloyd Webber. You will laugh at the entertaining tributes including: Annie (“I’m 30 Years Old, Tomorrow”), A Chorus Line (“What I Did For Laughs”), Les Misérables (“It’s Too High”), and more.

Runs through March 7 at New Stage Theatre, 12850 SW Grant Ave, Portland.
