Butte County Watercolor Society Call to Artists

All water media artists are invited to apply for entry in our Annual Juried Watercolor Exhibition. There will be $1900.00 in cash awards distributed. Sal Casa and Ann Pierce will also present Honor’s Awards of $200 each. The exhibition will be held at the 1078 Gallery, in Chico, California. This Juried Watermedia exhibition is a competition open to all living artists working with watermedia on paper. There is a non refundable entry fee of $15 per image, for BCWS Members and $20 per image for non members. Up to 5 entries per artist may be submitted. Dolores Mitchell  will serve as the major juror of this exhibit, see website below.

Butte County Watercolor Society was founded in 2007 and is currently preparing for the Fourth Annual Members Show. Benefits of membership include opportunities to exhibit their work through galleries, museums and local venues. Once a month, members gather for workshops, critiques, and networking.
