Umpqua (OR) Valley Arts Association (UVAA) has announced the dates for its 44th Annual Umpqua Valley Summer Arts Festival, which will be held on June 22-24, 2012, and is currently preparing to accept applications from art vendors, food vendors, and entertainers wishing to participate.
This festival is a major cultural event in the Umpqua Valley, drawing artists and crafters from across the United States for a three day festival with live music, food from local vendors, and lots of art. The festival draws over 16,000 visitors of all ages, and is made possible year after year by massive volunteer support. Proceeds from the festival benefit the UVAA’s arts-in-education programs, bringing art instruction to elementary school children in Douglas County.
