Call for Artists for the Sunriver Art Faire

This inaugural, juried Art Faire (8/13-15) is sponsored by the SUNRIVER WOMENʼS CLUB (SRWC),  in partnership with the esteemed SUNRIVER MUSIC FESTIVAL (SRMF). It will be held in the newly refurbished Village at Sunriver. All net proceeds will support deserving nonprofits in Central Oregon, thus “Artists with Heart”. This mid-August weekend is high season at Central Oregonʼs premier resort – Sunriver. Sunriver is a planned private residential and resort community 15 miles south of Bend in Deschutes County.

The jury will be composed of Oregon artists, SRWC, SRMF and community leaders. Works will be judged on excellence in workmanship, originality and overall artistic concept. All submissions will be viewed anonymously. Two artists/craftspeople may share one exhibit space and the cost of that space but must apply independently. We will strive for a diverse array of media. A short waiting list will be maintained in case of cancellations prior to July 15th. Only digital images will be accepted for judging. Two types of images required; one that best represents the work that will be for sale at this Faire (up to 3); a second image of your booth or one that reflects a grouping that is representative of your work in scale and displayed. Limited reproductions of original art will be accepted as long as the original art is available for viewing. Notification of interest to apply by 1/20/10.
