Call for Stage Show Proposals

The Children’s Clean Water Festival (4/27, 9am-2pm) planning committee is seeking a mix of performers and/or groups (companies) to deliver a total of 16 performances at this year’s festival, to be held at PCC Sylvania Campus. The Festival encourages creative ways to deliver local water messaging and a program could take the form of: Music or Storytelling, Magic or Puppet show, Variety or Cabaret, and Other. The Children’s Clean Water Festival planning committee can assist in providing water content around which the program will be created, but the company is responsible for development of the program and any associated costs. The company retains full ownership of its developed program and is free to perform the program publicly or privately at the company’s discretion. Performance outline that includes the number of performers, their roles, and a description of the show in five minute time segments. (The show must not exceed 25 minutes in duration.) Summary of educational water content to be addressed in performance. (Examples of possible content include: water cycle, water stewardship, wetlands, watersheds, source to ocean, etc.) Cost per show. Also, please note if a price break is available for multiple shows. List of sound and set preferences. (Shows will be performed on either a small or large theater stage with limited sound & lighting options.) Send completed proposals to:
