City of Lake Oswego: Arbor Week Art Show

The City of Lake Oswego invites local artists to submit their paintings for display in the 4rd Annual Arbor Week Art Show. In the spirit of the centennial of Lake Oswego, the show will be titled “Enduring Forests.”  All paintings must feature the imagery of trees, though preference will be made for old trees and old growth or ancient forests.  Due to space constraints, for the first time the Arbor show will be chosen by jury and will include only paintings.

The event will open with a reception on Thursday, April 1th 6:30 to 8:30 pm. The artwork will remain on display through the month of April.

Please send a digital photo (between 500 and 800 px) or an 8X10 photo by mail of one or two paintings to nroskos@ci.oswego.or.us. All artists will be notified if chosen by March 22nd.

This year, the Arbor week paintings will be for sale, unless the artist deems it NFS, not for sale. The sales will be split between artist and community forestry, 60% to the artist, 40% to fund community forestry activities in Lake Oswego.
