Corning Center for the Fine Arts Artist Residency

Corning Center for the Fine Arts in Corning, Iowa is looking for resident artists for its residency program. Located 1.5 hours from Des Moines Iowa and Omaha Nebraska and 2.5 hours from Kansas City, CCFA offers the best of artist support, rural inspiration and strategic Midwest location all in one.

Residencies at the art center are 3 to 12 months. CCFA currently has 2 openings for artists. Each residency includes a huge apartment, studio space in the art center and full use of the studio facilities 24 / 7. CCFA is also proud to offer a brand new pottery facility. The cost is $185.00 a month and includes everything except food. Currently there is also a 2-year grant to support artists teaching classes to youth in the community that can offset the costs of the residency for artists who are interested in teaching.
