Cultural Anthropologist

The Confederated Tribes of the Coos, Lower Umpqua, and Siuslaw Indians is seeking an archaeologist. This position is responsible for protection of Tribal cultural resources, which includes cultural resources surveys, cultural site identification, location, and monitoring; intergovernmental coordination to establish and implement cultural site protection procedures; monitoring of ground-disturbing activity; avoidance and mitigation of damage to cultural sites; and archaeological excavations.
