The Gresham Art Committee: Juried Art Show

The Gresham Art Committee (GAC) invites local and regional artists to enter its 13th Annual Juried Art Show. All media will be considered.

Awards: Four independent groups will evaluate the exhibited artwork and award 4 First Place Ribbons each presented with a $100 cash prize: Mayor's Choice, Gresham Art Committee's Choice, People's Choice, and Juror's Choice. Also, 4 Second Place and 4 Third Places Ribbons and Certificates will be awarded.

Artwork Specifications: Artists may submit up to 3 pieces of artwork for consideration by the Juror. Works must not have been previously exhibited at this gallery. Fine art photography, digital, and any other artwork that is original but capable of reproduction must be from a limited edition, signed and numbered. All two-dimensional work must be ready to hang with attached wire. No saw-tooth hangers or clip-on frames will be accepted.

Juror Fee: There is a $15 fee for Entry 01 and an additional $5 fee for Entry 02 and for Entry 03. (The total Entry Fee for 3 images is $25.) No entries will be juried before the Juror Fee is received.Please mail a check or money order payable to “City of Gresham” and mail it to GAC curator contact: Marianne Ott at P.O. Box 188, Gresham, OR 97080.

Selection Process: The Curator Team will notify participating artists which of their submitted pieces were selected by the Juror for the art show. All artwork is to remain in the City of Gresham Visual Arts Gallery for the duration of the exhibit.

Submission Process: Entry Form, Juror Fee, and JPEG Image Required: All entries must be include JPEG image files that are no smaller than 500 KB and do not exceed 2 MB. Include one CD for all mailed entry images.
