Instructors for ReBuilding Center Workshops

ReFind Furniture of The ReBuilding Center is seeking qualified instructors to teach inspiring hands-on workshops focusing on art, craft and/or building practices with an emphasis on community and sustainability. Workshops are conducted inside the ReFind Furniture woodshop and are restricted to evening or weekend times. Previously class topics have included: Mosaic Making from Recycled Tiles, Create a Table from a Door, and Power Tools for Women. Topics may range from fine crafts to home improvement but all encourage others to use recycled materials in innovative ways. Interested instructors are invited to submit a proposal for a specific workshop idea with their resume, teaching history, portfolio (if applicable), and a SASE for return of materials to: Jon Basile,The ReBuilding Center, 3625 N Mississippi Ave, Portland, OR 97227 or education@rebuildingcenter.org.
