Likeness & Exposition: Photographic Portraits in Portland

Folks Press is seeking photographers to participate in a benefit group show at Valentines (232 SW
Ankeny) for the month of March 2010. The sales from this show will go towards the cost of
printing the first issue of Folks Press magazine.

This show will consist of 50 photographic portraits of people in Portland, Oregon. We will choose
photographs across all formats: Medium format, 35mm, digital, polaroid. The portraits may be of
people that the you as the photographer are familiar with or not. In essence this show will
exemplify the vast array of interesting people within our community.

Along with the following please send us your full name and contact information.

Please email us at contact@folkspress.com a digital sample of a photographic portrait that you
would like to donate to Folks Press along with an explanation of the photograph (1 sentence to 1
paragraph)
FILM PHOTOGRAPHERS
Please send a sample size copy of a photographic portrait to

Along with the photo please include an explanation of the photograph.
We will choose 50 participants and notify them by Feb. 22nd. All work will need to be printed on
11 x 14 paper and dropped off to Folks Press by Feb. 26th.
