Marketing Manager sought by Northwest Folklife (Seattle)

Northwest Folklife is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to oversee the marketing and communications for Northwest Folklife. This organization is a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit dedicated to the preservation and celebration of folk, ethnic, and traditional arts for present and future generations. The Marketing Manager is responsible for promoting the organization's mission; manage all communication and marketing activities; and cultivate/maintain media sponsor relationships and company partnerships. This position reports to the Executive and Deputy Directors.
The organization's annual Northwest Folklife Festival, held for the past 40 years each Memorial Day weekend at Seattle Center, is a signature event in the Pacific Northwest and one of the nation's largest free community arts festivals.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Coordinate all marketing and public relations aspects of the Northwest Folklife Festival including—but not limited to—artwork and collateral (posters, buttons, guide and sportswear), press releases, Festival photography and media relations
•Liaise between contracted sponsorship sales team and Northwest Folklife, advance all sponsorship contracts
•Provide marketing support to Northwest Folklife’s year round programming
•Direct year-round marketing and PR efforts for all Folklife-produced events
•Manage and edit Festival specific website (www.nwfolklifefestival.org) and manage content on organization website (www.nwfolklife.org)
•Create blog content and solicit guest posts
•Schedule and send monthly eNewsletters and Eblasts
•Maintain organization’s presence on social media sites
•Other duties as assigned
