Art Notes is the newsletter for the Regional Arts & Culture Council (RACC), serving the arts and cultural communities of Clackamas, Multnomah and Washington Counties in the Portland, Oregon metropolitan region. A free bi-monthly printed version is available or a monthly electronic version. Cultural Calendar. Events in the metropolitan Portland area funded in part by RACC.

RACC Opportunities. RACC grants, public art prospectuses, events, workshops, dedications, forums, job and intern opportunities.

Grants/Fellowships/Residencies. Other local and national funding opportunities for artists and arts and culture organizations.

Competitions. Local and national juried competitions for artists of all media.

Job Openings. A listing of job opportunities, local and national, for those working in the arts.

Workshops/Conferences/Lectures. A listing of local and some national events open to artists, educators, and organizations.

Information for inclusion into Art Notes should be mailed to RACC, Attn: Art Notes, 108 NW 9th Avenue, Suite 300, Portland, OR 97209-3318; FAX 503.823.5432, or email to mbauer@racc.org. Only events funded by RACC will be included in the Around Town section (printed) and Cultural Calendar (online). Other notices for grants, competitions, job openings, workshops, etc. may be submitted, but RACC reserves the right to edit or reject material for publication for any reason. Deadline for submissions are the 15th of each month.
