Painting & Master Drawing Sessions with Aithan Shapira, PhD.

Internationally known artist, Aithan Shapira, recently arrived in Portland. His background includes a Ph.D. in Painting (Royal College of Art), three years painting in the N. Territories of Australia with Aboriginal peoples, & a painting residency in Jerusalem. He is also a Master Printmaker (Royal College of Art) and has an MFA in Painting (Boston University) where he lectured and critiqued Graduate Painting & Sculpture.

Aithan is offering us a unique opportunity for serious study with him in small, personalized, intensive groups.

Proposed Workshops (2)

1. Title: Master Drawing Class.
Time: Early 2012
Sessions: Three, 2-hour sessions with post critique.

2. Title: Plein-Air Painting Intensive
Time: Mid April 2012
Sessions: 4 full days Plein Air with evening critiques
Location: McMinnville, OR
