PICA: Videography Intern

Record, edit and archive video of year-round PICA events, lectures and performances.

Responsibilities: Video logging and editing, DVD creation, and video archive organization. Internship would include recording at PICA events; including lectures, some receptions/parties, and special performances as necessary. Videos will be used online and stored in our Resource Room as archival documentation of past programming. Based on experience and current production needs, other projects may include creating and editing promotional teaser videos and trailers of upcoming programs.

Qualifications: Candidates must be comfortable with Mac computers and digital video cameras, and proficient in Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro, and other editing software.

Dates: Openings available beginning March 2010.
Hours: 8+ hrs/week; flexible schedule with some night and weekend hours for special events.
