Artists are invited to submit up to three pieces for jurying. We seek all artistic explorations and representations of urban and/or rural life for this show. The show is open to all media, from traditional to contemporary work, 2-D or 3-D, using a variety of techniques and imaginative interpretations.  There is a jury fee of $20. The jury fee is $10 for youth artists 14 years or younger.  Exhibition dates: March 30 – May 2

Urban/Rural: The world is seemingly divided between urban and rural. Urban: fast-paced, high tech, densely populated, liberal, embracing change, advocating social justice and government intervention. Rural: traditional, populated sparsely in close-knit communities, conservative, wary of government intervention. What do these differences mean? How do urban and rural societies overlap, cooperate, and depend on each other? Are they really as different as they seem? Does one way of life speak to you over another – or do you inhabit both worlds?
