RACC Public Art Opportunity: Multnomah County Department of Community Justice | East Campus – deadline October 30

The Regional Arts & Culture Council is seeking an artist/artist team living in the Portland Metropolitan Area (Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas, Columbia and Yamhill counties in Oregon, as well as Clark and Skamania counties in Washington) to design and fabricate a permanent exterior artwork to be attached to a 25’H x 30’W inset on the east-facing brick façade of the Multnomah County’s Department of Community Justice East Campus facility at 1415 SE 122nd in Portland, Oregon. The total budget available for the commission is approximately $50,000.

We encourage applications from BIPoC (Black, Indigenous and/or People of Color) artists, self-taught artists, artists who live in the neighborhood, first-time public art makers, and artists who have experienced incarceration, parole or probation.
