The Professional Development Grant Program supports artists, arts professionals, and arts organizations in Clackamas, Multnomah, and Washington Counties with grants of up to $2,000 to support distinct opportunities that will advance their creative practice or business skill development.
The Professional Development Grant Program is focused on supporting opportunities that are distinct from the applicant’s previous experiences, timely, meaning the applicant is in a prime time in their career to benefit from the opportunity, and opportunities which will result in long term professional growth.
RACC has made some changes to the Professional Development grant application process and timing for the coming year. Some changes have been rolled out for the current cycle of grants and we will be announcing other changes and the planned dates for future cycles in the summer of 2020.
Due to the impact of COVID-19, RACC has cancelled the fall 2020 Professional Development Grant cycle so we can better respond to the emerging needs of the community.
The Professional Development Grant program is on hold, and we do not know yet when the next opportunity to apply will be. We will post more information here when it becomes available, most likely in late June. We announce all new grant cycles in our newsletter. You can click here to subscribe for updates.
