The Professional Development Grant Program supports artists, arts professionals, and arts organizations in Clackamas, Multnomah, and Washington Counties with up to $2,000 toward distinct opportunities that will push forward their creative practice and business skill development. The program supports opportunities that are 1) distinct from other experiences the applicant has previously had, 2) is timely, meaning the applicant is in a prime position now to benefit from the opportunity, and 3) has potential for new professional growth.
RACC is making some changes to the Professional Development grant application process and timing for the coming year. These changes are intended to make the program more flexible and accessible for applicants, and increase the number of opportunities to apply each year. Details about the new process and deadlines will be posted here early February 2020. We currently expect next application deadline will be in early April 2020.
