Create your own sculpture using found objects and shadow boxes. In this class, you will learn all about assemblage – 3D counterpart to collage. A shadow box is a deep, enclosed picture frame usually used to display keepsakes and memorabilia. We’re flipping the script on how they are used, though. During this class you will create a 3D sculpture that will be easy to display.
This low-pressure workshop will allow you to move at your own pace and encourage you to dive into the project, ask more questions, and meet other creative people. You’ll borrow supplies during the class that will allow you to experiment and inspire you to invest in your own materials. All materials are provided and no experience is needed.
