The Elisabeth Jones Art Center is looking for an Interactive Community Project dealing with the worldwide water crisis. The Art Center is open to installation work, performance, and mail art. The project can incorporate any medium, including installation and performance.
This will ideally be an international project related to water, specifically to the water crisis. As our watersheds are polluted, as groundwater is tainted, as pipelines are built and burst, as third world countries feel the negative effects of first world development– the constant is: each person needs water. Fresh drinking water is indispensable for human life and for supporting terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems.
We are offering $1500 for the right project, developed by the artist.
We will be looking at applications as we receive them. Deadline to submit is Dec. 15, 2019.
