Join professional photographer Fritz Liedtke at Portland’s BodyVox Dance Center, where professional dancers will bring your images to life in a full day of creative exploration. In this three-part workshop, you’ll start with self-guided prep materials, spend six immersive hours photographing dancers in both studio and environmental settings with Fritz’s instruction, and finish with a virtual image review and editing session.
I’ll guide you through working with natural and artificial light, directing and posing dancers, anticipating movement, and crafting photographs that tell powerful stories through the human form. You’ll walk away with new techniques, fresh inspiration, and a stunning set of images for your portfolio.
