Borderline Press – Common Ground Issue 03

Deadline June 02, 2024

We are currently accepting submissions to our annual group zine. We’re seeking to feature artists focusing on photography, ceramics, collage work, textiles, painting, installation art, and printmaking. We are elated to be curating alongside artist Kim Kuhn for this issue.

Kim Kuhn is a graduate of the Southeast Center for Photographic Studies and received her Bachelors in Photography from the University of Central Florida. Born and raised in Daytona Beach, Kuhn has worked as a photographer since 2004 and spent the last 12 years as photo editor for a variety of national print publications including Parenting, Destination Weddings & Honeymoons, Caribbean Travel + Life, and The World’s Most Amazing Places magazines. One of her most recent projects was a special edition of TIME. Kuhn has a passion for documentary style photography and environmental portraiture. Her work explores themes of subcultures, human connection, and intimate life.

Guidelines: While the intent of this publication is to feature contemporary artists, we welcome the opportunity to share your written works in the form of poetry and short written pieces.

Each artist may submit a maximum of 5 files to be considered. There is no fee for entry.

Deadline to submit – June 2, 2024

We’re encouraging artists in all stages of their career to submit work to be included in this printed publication. The only requirement is that the artist submitting the work identifies as a woman or as non-binary. Artists maintain all rights to submitted artwork.
