The Oregon Society of Artists is seeking talented and passionate art instructors to join our team for the upcoming Winter Term of 2025 (1/6/25 – 2/23/25). We are open to a variety of class offerings; however, we are particularly interested in receiving proposals for the following types of classes:
Traditional Media:
- Introduction to Watercolor, Tuesdays 9am-12pm
- Introduction to Painting, Wednesday 6-8pm
- Intermediate Oil, Wednesdays 1-4pm
- Intermediate Acrylic, Thursdays 1-4pm
- Introduction to Drawing, Tuesdays 6-8pm
- Intermediate Drawing, Tuesdays 1-4pm
- Kids Classes: Engaging and age-appropriate art classes for young learners to attend after-school hours
New Media Arts:
- Photography
- Video Art
- Anime / Animation
- Stop Motion
- Interactive Art
Fiber Arts:
- Weaving
- Knitting
- Crocheting
- Quilting
- Embroidery
- Felting
- Fiber Sculpture
- Eco-Dying
3D Arts:
- 3D Multimedia Art
- Clay / Wax Modeling
- Sculpture
Professional Development for Artists:
- Portfolio Development
- Grant Writing
- Business of Art / Marketing for Artists
Online Classes:
Given the potential challenges of winter weather, we encourage instructors to consider offering online versions of their classes, especially if they have existing students who have expressed interest in continuing their instruction.
