At Stomping Ground, we offer an artist-in-residence program that provides the perfect balance of contemplative study and community engagement in the base of the Adirondack Mountains in just outside of Saratoga Springs, New York.

Every summer we try to bring in big thinkers, artists, musicians, writers, and creatives who are hoping to make the world a better place through their self expression. Hosting a creative resident at summer camp enables a distinct opportunity for exchange between the resident and campers where a myriad of partnerships and projects are possible.
Creative residents receive a FULLY-SUBSIDIZED stay including 3 meals a day in exchange for giving back to our unique community. All residents commit to give back to the community, but exactly how that gift transpires is up to each creative resident and approved by Stomping Ground staff.
