Alberta Abbey is looking for on-call event staff for public and private events. We are a 300+ capacity
venue operated by Alberta Abbey Foundation, an arts non-profit maintaining access to studio and
performance spaces for Portland artists.
Our event calendar will ramp up as the world adjusts to the post-covid era and people get comfortable
gathering in groups! At the moment, we’re planning for half-capacity events starting in August.
Service industry experience is a big plus. We’re willing to train on front and back-of-house duties. Event
staff are expected to contribute in all service areas but have primary stations assigned per event. Catering,
venue bartending, cooking, security, box-office, and even live sound engineering are all skills and
experience we welcome! Artists encouraged to apply.
