From the Ground UP : Artist Residency

Deadline August 31, 2023

OurArtists Residency kicks off every fall. This 9-month residency will give participants the opportunity to dive deep into their lived stories, explore their own intimate narratives and transform them into art.

Led by Artistic Director Katherine Murphy Lewis and Program Director Jacquelle Davis each resident will receive the training, community and individual support needed to realize their unique creative vision.

Incoming residents will engage in workshops, structured feedback sessions, one-to-one sessions with our Artistic Director while drawing upon a dynamic and inspiring cohort of other artists and makers. Whether you are focused on theater, dance, photography or a multimedia piece, this residency will give you the tools and support needed to bring vision, focus and key foundational elements into your work and creative process.

Our Residency Program is broken up in three sessions Intro, Advanced and Performance. You can register per session, one session at a time or for the full nine months. Ideal for anyone wanting to create risky new art and who want to reclaim agency over their creative lives — and anyone else who has a story to tell!

More details about each individual session at our Website. Early Bird Pricing through the end of May, scholarships and subsidies available.
