The Arts Center of Greater Corvallis, Oregon (TAC) seeks qualified Administrative Assistant candidates. This is a full-time, non-exempt position in Corvallis, OR. Remote work is not offered with this position.
Position Overview
The Administrative Assistant works closely with all TAC staff to support the organization’s overall well-functioning. The position reports directly to the Executive Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversight of customer records management (CRM) platform including tacking, updates, and reports for community members, donors, sponsors, grantors, volunteers, customers, tickets sales, and artists
- Working with the Development Assistant in processing incoming donations and gifts to TAC in a timely manner utilizing the (CRM) platform
- Keep current knowledge of all TAC programs, special events, and staff responsibilities
- Management of facility rentals processes and staffing rentals when needed
- Regular website updates (WordPress)
- Management of TAC Collaborative Google Drive, including on-boarding and off-boarding of employee access and maintaining Organizational Google
- Calendars
- Updating weekly staff coverage schedulers
- Facilities management, including on-board and off-board of employees and communications with the City of Corvallis maintenance department
- Fielding incoming inquiries (in-person, email, and phone) to TAC from the community, artists, etc. to the appropriate staff member
- Support with annual fundraising event planning
- Provides additional support to the Executive Director as needed.
Qualifications
- Commitment to justice, equity, and transparency in all practices
- Demonstrated experience arts administration (preferred) or other administrative support experience
- Experience with database management
- Experience with WordPress
- Expertise in use and navigation in a collaborative Google Workplace including GDocs (word processor), GSheets (spreadsheets), GDrive (cloud folder system), GForms (form creator), and Gmail (email), etc.
- Create, utilize, and navigate files across Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to track decisions transparently, ensuring inclusion in all policies and practices.
- Ability to work in a non-fully ADA-compliant environment with accommodation assistance as needed.
Compensation
- Annual Salary: $35,000 – $40,000/yr depending on experience.
- Includes Health Insurance (employee pay 15%), generous vacation and holidays, and Simple IRA with a 3% match.
