Color is more than just a visual experience; it is a language of emotion, memory, and narrative. GALA invites local artists to explore this spectrum for our upcoming themed exhibition, “Color Play.”
We are seeking works where color serves as the primary springboard for storytelling. Whether your palette is vivid or muted, intentional or unexpected, whimsical or sophisticated, we want to see how you use hue and saturation to take viewers on a journey. Show us your personal lens on the impact and effect of color in our lives and imaginations.

Eligibility & Media
We are looking for submissions across all media, including:
- Painting, Drawing, & Mixed Media
- Photography & Digital Art
- Sculpture & 3-D Works
- Jewelry, Pottery, & Glass
Geographic Requirement: To ensure the safety of the works and the ease of installation, all participating artists must reside within 30 miles of Gresham, Oregon for in-person delivery and pickup of accepted works.
