Description:
In celebration of Juneteenth, we are sponsoring the “Juneteenth: Our Freedom Exhibit” which will be the artistic reflection of the liberation that Juneteenth has afforded us to be artists, freely creating in our own voices, viewing, reading, exploring, analyzing, and interpreting the world around us and translating our visions artistically in paintings, sculptures, textiles and other visual art expressions.
We will include works from a wide range of media for example: painting, drawing, mixed media, photography, digital art, sculpture, jewelry, pottery, glass, and other 3-D pieces.
Artist Participation:
- This show is open to early and mid-career African American artists living within the East County and Gresham metro area.
- There is no charge to enter.
