The new Earth & Ocean Arts Festival, sponsored by the Cannon Beach Gallery Group, is looking for northwest artists to create Land Art in Cannon Beach during this new eco arts festival taking place September 20-22, 2019. The art will be created outside on the beach or near environs, will use only naturally occurring materials and will naturally degrade or wash away with the tide. The intent is to create ephemeral works that speak to and highlight the natural environment and then return to their source. This festival is all about arts and the environment and will raise funds for five well-known and hard-working non-profit organizations: North Coast Land Conservancy, Sea Turtles Forever, Wildlife Center of the North Coast, Friends of Cape Falcon Marine Reserve and Friends of Haystack Rock. Please get in touch with ideas/proposals and to learn more.
This new festival is going to be something special. See more details at link below.
