Portland Saturday Market seeks a part-time Operations Associate. This position serves as the point of contact for both vendors and the general public on-site each weekend (March to December) and in the administrative office two days a week.
Weekend on-site Info Booth trailer duties include allocating booth space and collecting payments from vendors, customer service, gift card and credit card sales/redemption, merchandise sales, preparing and settling weekend deposits.
Weekday office duties include answering phones, distributing mail and and handling walk-in requests, administrative support, database management, administering vendor sign-in program, and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Job Qualifications
• Associate Degree or equivalent
• One year clerical experience preferred with working knowledge of Word, Excel and the ability to learn the market’s proprietary database software
• Excellent customer service skills
20-25 hours weekly
$14.25/hr starting wage
