Immerse yourself in the vigor of plein-air painting in this 3-day intensive workshop with acclaimed painter Stephen Hayes.  With an emphasis on perception wedded to expression and the alla prima approach to painting, you will have the benefit of critical response from a master of this form.

This workshop is designed for painters with some experience, and a desire to work effectively and poetically in direct response to the landscape. Thursday June 22nd we will meet in my studio to share information and images.  We will prepare some panels, mix painting mediums and get to know each other a bit. This will be an opportunity for you to share your work with others in an informal slideshow presentation. Light refreshments will be provided.
