Queer ID – Juried Art Exhibition
The Blue Galleries at Boise State University is seeking artist submissions for a juried exhibition of artworks open to all Idaho artists, including current residents, former residents, and students/alumni of an Idaho university or college who self identify as LGBTQIA+ and currently residing in the United States. We are reaching out to artists who work in fiber arts, art metals, ceramics, sculpture, painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, illustration, and graphic design as well as interdisciplinary projects. We are not able to accept video or sound entries for this show. Each artist may submit up to three artworks for consideration in the jurying process. Queer ID seeks to highlight the diversity of experiences for those who identify as LGBTQIA+ in Idaho. Knowing that Queer contemporary artists can be non-traditional or working within established visual art genres, we are excited to show work with diverse content and media. There is no entry fee.
