Nonprofit housing developer Bienestar requests creative artistic work at its oldest community affordable housing property, Montebello, set to re-open in May, 2020 after a year of rehabilitation

Background: Bienestar seeks to work with a visual artist to create a permanent art installation in the community room of the recently rehabbed Montebello Apartments in Hillsboro, Oregon. Specifically, Bienestar requests qualifications to reimagine a blank wall into a design, painting, series of paintings, or sketches to honor the home of 49 low-income Latinx families. Bienestar gives preference to working with an artist who identifies as Latinx and/or lives in Washington County.
Space considerations: 25×10 foot indoor wall space
