A woman confronts her younger Iranian-American self, trapped in a world where letters refuse to behave. Navigating school, language, and identity, the child feels just out of reach — until an unexpected ally appears: Albert Einstein. Together, across time, they search for a way through.
LES Shakespeare Co. presents the world premiere of THE WORDS WILL COME: Inside the Dyslexic Mind, written and directed by Melody Erfani. Blending shifting projections, immersive soundscapes, and physical storytelling, this multisensory production invites audiences inside the dyslexic experience — exploring both its frustrations and its remarkable creative strengths. Post-show conversations will explore dyslexia, neurodivergent learning, and arts education.
Developed through residencies at HB Studio (NYC) and Performance Works Northwest (Portland), the production runs June 4–28, 2026 at Shaking the Tree Theatre.
