It’s finally feeling like Spring, and what springtime means for the Architecture Foundation of Oregon is Architects in Schools Exhibition time! Each year, students participating in the Architects in Schools program have a chance to display their work for the general public at multiple fabulous venues. This is a chance for the students to take ownership of their work and share what they’ve learned about the built environment with their families and friends. It is the culminating event of the Architects in Schools program in the Portland Tri-county area, Salem, Eugene, Bend, Medford, Ashland and more!
This being said, we need YOUR help to make the Portland exhibits happen! We serve over 2,900 students just in the Portland Tri-county area, and they will be exhibiting their work at 5 different venues in Portland during the month of May. Please consider volunteering for a shift or two over the dates of April 28-May 22. We have many opportunities ranging from exhibit set-up, exhibit take-down, exhibit supervision, and reception supervision.
