Warehouse Assistant Position – Buyolympia

Buyolympia is a retailer, wholesaler and distributor that started in 1999. We represent over 100 different artists and carry prints, cards, books, stickers, and other gifts. We are looking for a new full-time warehouse assistant to join our small team of eight people.

The warehouse assistant is responsible for a variety of tasks related to the daily flow and operation of the warehouse. They report to the e-commerce manager and work closely with the shipping, print and production managers as well.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Accurately and efficiently pulling wholesale and retail orders
  • Receiving and checking in shipments
  • Checking for damaged products
  • Shelving and storing items in the warehouse
  • Production work including sleeving cards, prints, sticker sheets etc.
  • Inventory counts and corrections
  • Light up keep and cleaning

Desired skills for the position include:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 50lbs
  • Comfortable with being on your feet for most of the day
  • Experience with production work
  • Demonstrated experience working both independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with programs such as Slack, Notion, and inventory keeping software
  • At ease in a dynamic work environment that requires switching between tasks and identifying priorities throughout the day
  • Clear communication style and cooperative attitude

Job Specifics:

  • 32 hours a week
  • Mon-Thurs, 9-5pm
  • $21/ hour
  • Starts mid August
