As the Accounts Payable Specialist, Amanda helps support the finance department with the goals of maintaining a high degree of accountability and bringing new efficiencies to the role.
After a revelatory experience at the Women’s March in Portland, she read Hope in the Dark by Rebecca Solnit, which encouraged her to channel her optimism for change into action. She is thrilled to be working with others who celebrate and advocate equity in arts and culture.
She earned a B.A. in linguistics and literature from the University of California, Santa Cruz while working as a bookseller and has six years of accounting experience.
Amanda also works with The Pixie Project, a nonprofit animal rescue. In her spare time she enjoys reading, gardening, food, and music.
