As a kid in Illinois, Amy grew up across the street from the Arthur Anderson training center watching accountants playing basketball outside. To her keen young mind, the accounting life looked mighty fine. So fine, in fact, that by the tender age of 9, she had decided to become an accountant- so she could play outside, too.
Amy joined the Perkins & Co tax department in January 2015, after relocating from Los Angeles, and works with individuals, family-owned businesses, private foundations, and estates and trusts. Her passions outside of work include spending time with her family, including her 2 small children, reading Murder Mystery books, and watching the Anaheim Ducks play hockey. In addition to joining the RACC Board in July 2018, Amy also serves as a board member on the Sherwood Foundation for the Arts, a local organization that provides support to promote the arts through education, enjoyment and enrichment for the citizens of Sherwood.
