As The Right Brain Initiative Program Coordinator, Anna works to effectively tell the story of Right Brain’s promotion of arts integrated teaching and learning. Through communications, event and brand management, and building awareness and engagement, Anna supports the ongoing success of Right Brain’s mission in the city of Portland and beyond.

Anna originally hails from the rural farmland just outside of Philadelphia, studied English Literature and Visual Arts in Indiana, and has lived abroad in Tanzania and South Korea. With an early career background in teaching English as a second language and later in education technology, Anna brings strong energy for learning, creativity, and building connections. She believes deeply in the value of imaginative and creative learning experiences at a young age; Anna learned to paint as a child from her grandmother, a folk artist, and continues to make and sell art and work on freelance design projects. Anna enjoys traveling whenever she can, cooking for friends, reading, and eating out way too often.
