David Wynde

Interim Treasurer



David was born and raised in England. He moved to the USA in 1982 and lived in Hawaii for nine years – attending graduate school and then working for an investment company and a bank. He and his wife, Sharon, moved to Portland in 1991.
David has over 40 years of experience in finance and financial management, organizational leadership, and staff development and coaching. He is an independent consultant, coach, and interim manager for nonprofit, public, and private organizations; and also, currently teaches a class in accounting and financial controls for not-for-profit organizations at the University of Portland.
He served on the Portland Public Schools Board of Education from 2003 to 2011; and later served as Deputy CFO for PPS, where he oversaw the development, management, and oversight of the district’s budget and helped lead the district’s strategic financial management.
