As RACC’s Community Engagement Associate, Ella cultivates relationships with community members to develop strategies for equitable access to RACC’s programming and resources. She works to serve local artists and uplift the civic role arts organizations play in community. She believes in art & culture as a catalyst for social change and is devoted to seeking innovative ways to use the arts to advocate for racial equity in Portland’s arts and culture sector.
In addition to her work at RACC, Ella values her ongoing roles supporting the Portland Institute for Contemporary Art and as a Board Member of Friends of Noise, an organization that aims to provide safe space and educational opportunities for young people exploring the arts.
